Thank you to all of you who shared your thoughts in response to yesterday’s email “Living with the turmoil inside.”
I got dozens of replies on the blog and via email.
Many of you wrote about your own losses. A grandmother. A father. Or others who meant so much to you. And how even years later, you think of them every day.
Others shared that they have a parent or grandparent in their nineties. And the inevitable crosses their mind often. They’ve wanted to have the conversation I wished I’d had. And yesterday’s email gave them the push to go do it. THAT made my day.
Still others appreciated the reminder to live each day without fear. Srikumar Rao said it like this: “We’re all on death row…” Yikes. Kinda jars you when you think of it that way.
But that’s a good thing.
Part of me would love nothing more than to sit and reflect and reminisce and remember…
But the other part of me says “Life moves on. You didn’t choose to be here, but you’re here. Now live today in a way that would make Bubbie proud.”
And so, with my grandmother’s image before me as a reminder, it’s time to move on.

When you suffer a loss, you tend to become spiritual and sentimental.
It would be nice if our lives could be all spiritual. All about good intentions. Good would always winning and all that.
But the reality is that good intentions are not enough.
In this world, if you want the opportunity to impact people you need to influence them.
And to influence them, you need to present yourself and your ideas in certain ways.
During the long years when I couldn’t pay my bills, my grandmother always reiterated her faith in me. But she also felt I should have gone to college. She believed that if I’d had a college degree, I would earn more.
Well, that was one argument that I eventually won.
I had studied direct marketing for years. But I couldn’t make it work for myself. I had lots of knowledge, but no consistent flow of great clients clients.
I knew it wasn’t a college degree that would make the difference.
Talent isn’t enough.
Good intentions are not enough.
A college degree is not enough.
Even a successful corporate career is not enough when you go out on your own, as many of my best clients now understand.
Most of my clients have studied Jay Abraham. Gary Halbert. Dan Kennedy. John Carlton. Joe Sugarman. Tony Robbins. Robert Ringer. And many, many others. For years.
But they still struggle to make all that knowledge work for them.
Why?
Because information is never enough. You need mastery. And for mastery, you need the hands-on guidance of someone who has mastered what you’re trying to master.
On Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 at 12:00 noon eastern, I’ll be leading a small group through a hands-on workshop.
It’s called “I Spent Thousands On Info-Products – now how do I make it all work?”
This is a “Web Workshop.”
That means I’ll be live with between 3 and 8 people. No more. And I’m going to help you flesh out the fundamentals you need to create a consistent flow of clients.
If you’ve heard my free teleseminars on “The 5 Steps to A Consistent Flow of Clients” or “How to Be Noticed, Be Valued and Be Hired by the Clients You Want Most” then you know that the first step in your marketing and selling system is to get really clear about the only two things that get the attention and interest of your ideal clients:
- A problem they have and don’t want.
- And a result they want and don’t have.
This is *simple.* But it is not easy.
And if you still don’t have a clear message. A clear niche. A clear offer…
On this live, interactive web-workshop, with only 3-8 participants, I’m going to help you get clear about the problem you help solve and the result you enable.
We’ll work together for 2.5 – 3.5 hours.
I’m going to help you finally clarify your “marketing helium” so that everything you do from now on will add up to clients.
And then I’ll show you the way forward. How to use take what we will have done together and turn it into a consistent flow of clients.
The investment? Only $229.
And if at the end of the web workshop you don’t feel it was worth at least ten times that, just let me know and I’ll refund your money that same day.
Ready?
Then go here to grab one of the only 3 – 8 slots.

PS – Again, this is not a webinar or teleseminar. This is a small group workshop. You will walk away with clarity about the core of your marketing message and all activities for the rest of the year.
And it’s guaranteed.
