Someone wrote me saying he can’t attend Wednesday’s web-workshop because he’s got to be working at that time.
“…Sure, I could possibly take off, but when I don’t work, I don’t get paid… Will you be doing one on a weekend?”
I pointed out that the question isn’t where he is today. The only question that matters is where he wants to be.
And if he believes the “Your Marketing Helium” live web-workshop will help him get there.
When people write me with excuses, I assume their minds are made up. And the reason they’re writing is more to tell their story than to seek advice.
Long ago I gave up trying to convince people of things.
I realized that you can share wisdom, but that doesn’t guarantee people will hear it.
I realized that it takes a wise man to recognize wisdom. The fool hears wisdom and calls it foolish.
I realized that to attract my ideal clients, (I work with exceptional people) what I needed to do was share wisdom I’d learned – and the exceptional clients would be drawn to it.
The fools (and the naive, and those who are comfortable rather than hungry) would laugh at my foolishness.
*shrug*
Well, to my pleasant surprise this gentlman wrote back saying that he decided to join the web workshop – and he went ahead and enrolled.
It takes a wise – and strong person – to recognize wisdom and then change his plans accordingly. (We’re all guilty of recognizing wisdom and NOT following that path. But that’s another email.)
It simply is wise to choose your actions today based on where you WANT to be rather than where you are.
I don’t know where you want to be in a year. But would it help you to be able to talk about what you do with clarity and confidence? In a way that draws your ideal clients towards you?
Would it help you to wake up in the morning with a simple plan to follow – a plan that you believe will actually get you there?
Is it worth 2.5 – 3.5 hours of your time to get this confidence, clarity – and a consistent flow of your ideal clients?
And that’s what I’ll do with you at the upcoming “Your Marketing Helium” live web-workshop.
First: You’ll get really clear about YOUR marketing helium.
Then: You’ll draft a simple, practical marketing plan, built on principles and fundamentals.
We’ll have a maximum of 9 people so that everyone gets individual attention.
Last call: Go here now to reserve your spot.

PS – would you hit reply if you have any questions about this? I want to be sure you have all the information you need to decide if this is right for you. Thanks in advance.
