One in a hundred looks ahead, pictures what he wants and works towards it.
The other ninety-nine look at where they are today, at today’s limitations, and say “Oh well, I’ve got these limitations. What’s the most I can hope to achieve with these limitations?”
The Ninety-Nine are settling for what they believe they can have – and never pursue what they really, really want.
And that’s why the Ninety-Nine go through life feeling they are riding out-of-control horses.
Yesterday I shared a video clip of the Soviet-era iconic singer, Vladimir Vysotsky.
He captured that feeling that so many have: Being blown sideways through life. Life speeding up out of your control.
Here’s the bit of hard-won wisdom I promised you:
Decide what you want and go after it. Even when you don’t know HOW. How you will afford it. How you will have time for it. How you will succeed.
The Ninety-Nine think they need to know HOW they will afford their dream before they take the next step. And so the next step looks too scary.
The One understands you need only know two things:
1. WHAT you really want and
2. Your very NEXT step.
You can’t stop time. But you can decide if you’ll be leading your horse, or hanging on for dear life.
The Ninety-Nine feel they are riding out-of-control horses because they never decide on – and commit to – a destination.
Decide first what you really, really want. Then every step takes you somewhere.
And the faster the better.

PS – Ninety-nine will read this and think “I knew that already.” But they still won’t do anything about it.
For One, the light will be turned on.
If you are the One, then I invite you to apply for one of the 5 – 7 free “Consistent Flow of Customers” strategy sessions I’ll be giving away this month.
These sessions are for people who will be guided by what they want – not by today’s apparent limitations. For people who will take the next step, when it presents itself, even if it looks scary.
If you are a One in a hundred, go here now and apply.
